Insiders also told the magazine that daughters Ashley and Wynonna gave brief eulogies. Dolly Parton also, allegedly, said some words. However, the family of Naomi Judd is keeping the location of her grave a huge secret.
Tennessee’s Williamson County Sheriff’s department, headed by Sheriff Dusty Rhoades, continues to “stonewall” what happened, allegedly banning the release of 911 calls, police reports, witness statements, and any details, claiming it is conducting an “ongoing death investigation.”
The bureaucrats have reportedly kept mum and hid the condition of Naomi Judd’s body, the spot of her gunshot wound, and anything else discovered during the postmortem.
Unnamed insiders told Globe Naomi Judd put a gun in her mouth and pulled the trigger. The coroner, however, would not confirm and insist lab results would not be ready for public consumption for up to 12 more weeks. An outraged informant close to Naomi Judd and her family stated:
“Naomi Judd’s death has been completely covered up. There is talk the family will seek a court order to stop the autopsy from ever being made public. What do they have to hide?”
Ashley Judd revealed that her mother was at home because she did not feel well. When the actress left their home to greet a neighbor who stopped by, Naomi Judd reportedly then blew herself away in an upstairs bedroom.

An unidentified source, who noted Wynonna’s son with ex-husband Arch Kelly, Elijah Kelly, is a deputy with the Williamson County Sheriff’s department said:
“The authorities there take care of their own and keep things under wraps. It’s little wonder that you never hear anything about his famous family! His granny Naomi was particularly beloved to him.”
On the sheriff’s part, a representative insisted every death investigation is conducted the same way and it takes time to release results. It stated:
“We are waiting on information to come back from various labs. There is nothing out of the ordinary here. The process is the same for any other person or any other case.”
However, one mystery involves how Naomi Judd got her hands on a firearm. Sources claimed family members would hide guns from the late singer since she had threatened suicide many times before and announced she was going to shoot herself.
Ashley Judd, in her autobiography, recalled hearing Naomi Judd fighting with a guy she had brought home and fired a shot at him. An informant stated:

“I DO know, that the pain of losing Mom in 4/30 to suicide is so great, that I often feel like I’m not ever going to be able to fully accept and surrender to the truth that she left the way she did. This cannot be how the Judds story ends.”
