Specifically, anime leaker Anime News And Facts on Twitter shared that season 2 of the hit romance anime according to a leak.
My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 being in production does make sense as a special event featuring the series’ voice cast is happening on September 17.
While there’s not much info regarding what reveals are lined up at the event, it’s possible that a second season announcement will be made there. After all, fan events such as these are typically where new anime seasons are announced.
Aside from the upcoming fan event, My Dress-Up Darling has also been announced as part of the upcoming Aniplex Online Fest 2022 lineup.
Aniplex’s event will happen on September 24, and it will feature announcements for 19 TV anime. It’s possible that Season 2 will be revealed there as well.
If a second season does get announced, it probably won’t release anytime soon. According to Anime News And Facts, Aniplex prefers there to be more source material to adapt so that a third season can be greenlit instantly.
