After a teaser yesterday, a My Dress-Up Darling anime special event was announced on the anime’s official website.
Officially called My Dress-Up Darling Eh～?! It's OMG crazy to see you all! ～, the upcoming event is a celebration of the anime and will take place on September 17 at J:COM Hall Hachioji.
While the announcement did not mention what activities or reveals are lined up, it was confirmed that the special event will feature appearances from the My Dress-Up Darling anime series cast.
Joining the celebration are voice actors Hina Suguta (Marin Kitagawa), Shoya Ishige (Wakana Gojo), Atsumi Tanezaki (Sajuna Inui), and Hina Yomia (Shinju Inui).
Also attending the event is Spira Spica, the Japanese rock band that performed the series' opening theme. Ending theme singer, Akari Akase, will also join the special event.
Similar to other anime events, advanced tickets will be available via a lottery system due to the limited number of seats.
Fans who purchase the fifth Blu-ray and DVD volume will get to enter the advanced tickets lottery, with the winners to be announced on August 19.
Currently, there’s no word yet on if there will be general admission tickets for the event. There’s also no information yet on if the event will be streamed online outside Japan.
My Dress-Up Darling Special Event - Season 2 Announcement?
My Dress-Up Darling (Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru in Japanese) was one of the highlights of the Winter 2022 anime season. The anime’s first season ran from January 9 to March 27 and consisted of 12 episodes.
Given the show’s popularity, it wouldn’t be surprising to see a My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 announcement soon, possibly during the upcoming special event.
