If the Ms. Marvel series is renewed for a second season, we may see most cast members reprise their roles from the first season.

Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel

Iman Vellani is most likely to return as b, especially after her stellar performance in the series' first season. As the first Muslim superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Vellani was still able to portray a universal character who is relatable.

The Ms. Marvel Cast

Aside from Iman, we may also see Matt Lintz as Bruno Carrelli and Yasmeen Fletcher as Nakia Bahadir. We may also see the rest of Kamala's family, with Zenobia Shroff as Muneeba Khan, Mohan Kapur as Yusuf Khan, and Saagar Shaikh as Aamir Kahn. Kamala's grandparents may also return to the show, with Samina Ahmaad as Kamala's grandmother Sana and Fawad Khan as Kamala's great-grandfather Hasan.

Rish Shah may return as Kamran with Nimra Bucha as his grandmother, Najma. Fahran Akhtar may reprise his role as Waleed with Aramis Knight as Kareem/Red Dagger. When Knight spoke to ScreenRant, he said he would like to return for season 2 if it does happen.

The first season of Ms. Marvel ended in July 2022, and it told Ms. Marvel's origin story – who Kamala was, how she got her powers, and the supervillains she would be facing. The season ended with many revelations that could be a good jumping point for a second season.

In an interview with Time, series creator Bisha Ali talked about one fan-favorite theory - that Kamala is a mutant. During the season finale, we learn that Kamala has a DNA mutation, and Bisha Ali said they really weren't pulling any punches.

I will say: we weren't pulling any punches. You can literally hear the soundtrack to X-Men playing in that moment, so I don't know that we could be any more on the nose if we wanted to be.

Does this mean we may see the X-Men crossing over to Ms. Marvel?

Ms. Marvel in The Marvels

Before we even get to see news about the second season of Ms. Marvel, we will already see Kamala appear on the big screen along with Bree Larson as Captain Marvel and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau.

The post-credit scenes of the first season's finale showed Kamala in her room when her bracelets lit up, and she suddenly exchanged places with Captain Marvel. This was our first preview of the movie, The Marvels, premiering in 2023.
