Mortal Kombat: Joe Taslim's 4-Picture Contract Could Confirm Several Sequels Featuring Sub-Zero

We're still waiting for the premiere of the Mortal Kombat reboot but we may already have a hint to its future. Joe Taslim, who plays Sub-Zero in the upcoming film, has revealed that his contract includes four pictures which could mean several sequels.

Taslim is currently promoting Mortal Kombat and the Star Trek Beyond actor confirmed that he has signed on to work on four more movies after the first one. Interestingly, this could mean that Warner Bros. has big plans for the reboot.

"If this one's successful, maybe we do more," Taslim said on the latest episode of the Just for Variety podcast.

We're certainly loving the idea of more Mortal Kombat movies considering that the reboot has teased on an epic sequel. In addition to that, we're excited about seeing more of Taslim's Sub-Zero in the future.

Taslim was the first cast member confirmed for the Mortal Kombat reboot back in 2019 so it makes sense that he would be the first one revealed to be returning for a sequel. It would be amazing to see Sub-Zero back in action soon.
