In the premiere episode of Moon Knight, Steven was surprised when a coworker of his approached him about a date that they talked about over some steak. In Episode 3, the fans speculated more that there is another persona where Marc encountered three of Harrow’s men and they both blacked out, to their surprise, the three men are already dead.

Later in the episode, fans were quick to realize that when Marc was looking for the sarcophagus of Senfu, he was using a different accent, one which is not American as Marc uses, and English as Steven does.

The same accent was also heard in Episode 5 as Harrow talks to Marc in his office and Marc has a bandage on his nose bridge, seemingly hinting that Harrow is not even aware of a third persona.

In Episode 4, as Steven came out of a sarcophagus, it confirms that Marc is the main person and Steven is another personality crafted by Marc.

Finally, in Episode 6, the finale’s post-credits scene, the third personal of Marc and Steven arrives. Khonshu reveals that he doesn’t want any other avatar because Marc has no idea how truly broken he is. Khonshu introduced his friend, a limousine driver, Jake Lockley.

Surely, the fans who speculated the arrival of Jake but there seems to be a few changes in his personality from the comic books where he is a cab driver who scrubs off the criminal underworld by forming a network of informants around the world to stop the bad guys from whatever they are doing as he is always one step ahead. Jake Lockley is the exact opposite of Steven Grant who is a millionaire working on a tv show.

In the series, however, he is not the grounded personality but rather, Jake Lockley is shown as the violent one who chooses to kill rather than a chat. The fans are correct in saying that he has a Spanish accent because he spoke the language in the show. Given that he exists, it shows how Marc remains connected to Khonshu, through his third personality.

Khonshu may have freed Marc and Steven but not Jake, possibly the same reason why the god of the moon remained calm and did not object when the two ordered him to release them. Khonshu’s ways would definitely fit that of Jake who kills mercilessly and effortlessly, exactly what Khonshu wants for the fist of his vengeance.

Jake Lockley also ensures that there is a future for the titular character confirming that this would not be the last we’ll all see Khonshu and him. After all, since when did Marvel have a hero that only lasted for one run, and a titular hero for that matter?
