A new mystery sci-fi project was announced featuring the voice actors of Mikasa Ackerman and Kaguya Shinomiya from Attack on Titan and Kaguya-sama: Love is War, respectively.

Specifically, the new sci-fi project is entitled Project SYN, and it was announced recently via the project’s new official Twitter account and website.

The announcement Tweet for the project featured a link to the website, along with the words “I’m with you.” Though aside from these, there’s not much info on what exactly this new sci-fi project is.

What we do know is that the project features the Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa from Attack on Titan) and Aoi Koga (Kaguya from Kaguya-sama: Love is War). They will voice the two principal characters ADA and Noir, respectively.

Both voice actors have gotten major roles in anime and games. Ishikawa is a popular voice actor who has other big roles, including Violet from Violet Evergarden and 2B from Nier: Automata.

Meanwhile, Aoi Koga is the voice of Shoko Komi from Komi Can't Communicate and Paimon from Genshin Impact.

While there’s not much info regarding the series, a preview video was uploaded which may give some indication as to what Project SYN will be.

The video showed off several clips, including video game-style footage, live-action scenes, 2D anime, and 3D animation.

Given this, the project might be a mixed-medium work that spans live-action, animation, and video game projects.

Aside from the trailer, a special program for Project SYN was streamed live on EMOTION Label’s official YouTube channel, but it did not reveal much information regarding the project.

Though it did feature an appearance by both Ishikawa and Koga where they shared their excitement regarding the upcoming project.

Alongside the stream, several cosplayers also attended Summer Comiket 2022 to promote Project SYN. These cosplayers dressed up as the two main characters which were shown in the promo video.

Despite the lack of info on what exactly it is, Project SYN is a promising work for sci-fi anime fans given its style and renowned voice cast.
