Prince William and Kate Middleton will, allegedly, go on a tour of the United States very soon.
Since no member of the royal family has visited the US in recent years, royal experts are convinced that it’s only a matter of time before Prince William and Kate Middleton make an official announcement.

While speaking with Closer UK, in its Nov. 2 issue, royal commentator Duncan Larcombe said that it wouldn’t be surprising if the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge would head to America. After all, the last that they were in the US for a royal tour was in 2014.
An unnamed royal aide also told Larcombe that it’s customary for at least one member of the royal family to visit the US every presidential cycle.
Will Prince William, Kate Middleton Have A Showdown With Sussexes?
And while the publication’s headline claimed that Prince William and Middleton’s trip could feature a showdown with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the unnamed royal aide said that this might not be the case.
The royal aide also stressed that the Cambridges and the Sussexes cannot make joint appearances even though Prince Harry and Markle reside in the United States.

“Put bluntly, Harry and Meghan are no longer working royals, so they would not be allowed to take part in any official engagements on Her Majesty’s behalf,” the source said.
However, this is just the beginning of all the contradicting statements that other publications released recently.
Meghan Markle Gearing For A Showdown With Kate Middleton?
Last month, In Touch Weekly, in its Sept. 27 issue, claimed that Prince Harry and Markle will travel to the United Kingdom for their daughter, Lilibet Diana’s christening.
While in the UK, the Duchess of Sussex will have a showdown with her sister-in-law.

An unnamed source alleged that Her Majesty gave Prince Harry and Markle her consent to christen Lilibet Diana in the United Kingdom because this is the only way to meet her great-granddaughter.
“She wants to meet Lili, but she and everyone else are questioning Harry and Meghan’s motivation after they’ve said such cruel things about the family in recent months. The christening has all the makings of a disaster,” the unnamed source said.
The queen didn’t also want to deny the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s request for fear that she would be criticized.
“If she refused, it wouldn’t have been a good look. She’s been waiting to meet her great-granddaughter and see Archie again, but word around the palace is that it makes no sense to her that they’d want Lili christened in England after they left the family precisely because they didn’t want to live by royal duties,” the source said.

Prince William, Prince Harry’s Strained Relationship Revisited
Reports about Prince William and Prince Harry’s strained relationship have been circulating online for years. And multiple publications claimed that the brothers’ falling out worsened because of their respective wives.
Throughout the years, Middleton and Markle have also been pitted against each other. But Voguesaid that it doesn’t have to be this way.
During her interview with Oprah Winfrey in March, Markle acknowledged the idea of polarization with the way the press depicts her and her sister-in-law.
“So much of what I have seen play out is this idea of polarity. If you love me, you don’t have to hate her. And if you love her, you don’t need to hate me,” she said.
In the same interview, Markle clarified that it wasn’t her that made Middleton cry. The opposite happened one week before Prince Harry and Markle’s royal wedding.
But the Duchess of Sussex said that she and her sister-in-law had patched things up. And Markle added that she never wanted to have a confrontation with Middleton, which seemingly debunks the recent claims that she’s going to the UK to have a showdown with the future queen consort.
