Marvel Phase 5 went underway after its opening release, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in theaters.

Though the Ant-Man threequel introduced the MCU’s next big bad, Kang, the film failed to live up to the expectations of fans and Marvel’s history.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania wrapped up the trilogy and has set off Kang the Conqueror’s next move in his plans to take over the multiverse to build his empire.

Now, for those who missed the big finale on the big screen, you’d be happy to know that Marvel Studios has finally announced when Ant-Man 3 starts streaming on the Disney+ platform!

Marvel Studios confirmed that Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania enters Disney+ on May 17! You can check out the announcement below:

The Ant-Man threequel had been previously declared a box office failure and ‘worst MCU film in history’, leading many to believe that the threequel would land its streaming release earlier than anticipated.

The Ant-Man 3 writer Jeff Loveness even reacted to the film’s negative reception:

“I’m like, ‘Goddamn! No, [the reviews] are wrong! I’m right! MODOK is great!’ I’m pretty happy with it overall and I think I learned how to take a punch this week.”

Hopefully, things turn around once the film starts streaming on Disney Plus, instead.

For those unaware, Majors has been accused of domestic abuse and harassment towards his former girlfriend.

While his representatives and lawyer attempted to prove his innocence, the Kang actor has been sacked from multiple projects, including being dropped from his management team at Entertainment 360 and his PR team at Lede Company.

Considering his big MCU role as the new Thanos, he would be hard to miss if Marvel decides to keep or remove him from his part.

However, as of writing, Marvel Studios has not yet announced any plans of replacing the actor.

Although many MCU fans have already been lining up their fan cast replacement for Kang.
