Now that Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has finally introduced MCU’s new big bad, Kang the Conqueror, fans couldn’t help but question how Kang didn’t kill off any major character in the threequel. However, a new report claims that one of them is bound to meet their end in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
According to Alex Perez of Cosmic Circus, the following characters are speculated to meet their doom in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty: Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), or Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer). Check out the tweet below:
Seeing as Avengers films have a reputation for killing off major characters, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty already poses a huge threat in the marvel cinematic universe. Not just for the major potential losses for MCU fans, but especially since it involves the multiverse, which opens up whole new possibilities for more characters to leave the MCU.

Previously, one of the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania stars’ response to an Ant-Man 4 installment seemingly paints the picture of their potential death, which is Michael Douglas, who plays Hank. The Oscar-winning actor only had one surprising condition in mind if a fourth Ant-Man film were to happen: “As long as [Hank Pym] could die.”
Given that Hank was the pivotal character behind Scott Lang’s heroic journey venturing with the Avengers within the MCU, it’s only natural that one of the biggest losses Scott could face is the man behind his superpowers.
Although there had also been speculations surrounding Scott as one of the main characters to eventually die within the franchise, nothing has been set to stone yet. But frankly, seeing how Marvel Phase 5 is gradually lessening their content release, it’s hard to say when exactly we’ll find out more details regarding which Ant-Man character will meet their end in The Kang Dynasty.
Marvel Studios’ Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is currently slated for release on May 2, 2025, while Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is now available in theaters worldwide.
