Following the successful release of the first run of Komi Can’t Communicate, the news of Season 2 dropped early and the fans and viewers of the show just couldn’t contain the excitement to see more of the titular character and wonder when she would even speak the truth of her feelings on Tadano. A poster came out for the upcoming series and it teases the involvement of a new character: Makoto.

Tomohito Oda’s Komi Can’t Communicate got fans wild on wondering when Komi would finally say a word and that, in itself, got people hooked on the anime show. The second season has since been announced to happen and as it nears the release, which would be on April 6, a new poster for the series has been released, including additional cast members and the new theme songs for both the opening and closing of every episode.

In the poster, there is, of course, Komi, who remains as mesmerizing as ever and Tadano, the timid guy who became the friend of Komi and later her love interest, is seen at the background seemingly stopping someone: Makoto. The character of Makoto is relatively new as she only came out of the anime show on the later part of the first season and the poster teases more of her involvement in the upcoming second season.

The new opening theme song of the show would be “Ao 100 Iro” by Miku Itō, when translated, it means 100 Blue Colors. As for the new ending theme song, it would be “Koshaberi Biyori” or Fine Day For Small Talk performed by FantasticYouth.
