But even if this is the case, Kate Middleton’s uncle, Gary Goldsmith weighed in on the reports. He said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are ready for the next chapter of their lives.
“William and Kate are going to have their hands full this summer as they move home to be nearer the Queen and settle the kids into a new school. But I think they are ready for the next chapter in their lives,” he said (via Express).

Kate Middleton, Prince William Will Have More Privacy In Adelaide Cottage Than Kensington Palace
Multiple publications claimed that Prince William and Middleton’s move to Adelaide Cottage is already final. After all, the queen allegedly granted their wish to move into the property even though Princess Eugenie also expressed interest.
If the alleged move pushes through, Prince William and Middleton will reportedly get to enjoy more privacy compared to what they experienced in Kensington Palace. According to royal expert Natalie Oliveri, the couple’s current home is like a glorious prison.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their three children are said to be moving into a new home in the coming weeks. This is at Windsor, Adelaide Cottage. This is just a stone's throw away from Windsor Castle. This will allow them to become, to be much closer to the Queen as they increase their royal duties. [The new home will] offer a lot of privacy away from cameras… Kensington Palace has been described as a glorious prison. So, this is going to be a very big change for the Cambridges,” she said (via Express).

But moving to a different home also means that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will transfer to a different school.
Days ago, Express claimed that Prince William and Middleton already decided to transfer their three children to Lambrook School. It is reportedly a top choice for the family because it’s just a short drive away from Adelaide Cottage.
However, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have not released an official statement announcing the transfer. In the past, the couple released official statements after they picked a school for Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
So, royal fans just need to wait and see whether the reports about Prince William and Middleton relocating to the Windsor estate are true.
