Two years ago, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced their decision to quit The Firm. This was followed by the news that they will also be relocating to the United States. Prior to the move, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were reportedly convinced that they could have a better life in America, but this is far from what happened.
Author and journalist Celia Walden earlier this year claimed that Americans are no longer protective of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, according to Newsweek.

Meghan Markle May Not Be Featured In Magazine Covers Because Americans Want To See Kate Middleton There
And now, royal expert Neil Sean also said that Markle could be pushed back from the covers of American magazines because of Middleton. After all, more and more Americans have been drawn to the Duchess of Cambridge, and they fondly call her Princess Kate.
“For Meghan Markle, this truly has to hurt. But we warned her and, more importantly, she failed to take notice. Because of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge heading over to the United States of America for their Earthshot Charity, a lot of people are going to be really interested over in the States. Celebrities simply migrate to the next big thing, wherever you were, you're now yesterday's news. And Harry and Meghan are seemingly finding that. This particular front cover from a magazine that truly did really embrace everything they were all about – wokeness, saving the planet, and more importantly, just loving them – they've decided to change tack. This is all to do that also the editor of the magazine recently changed and, according to a very good source, allegedly the magazine editor isn't as sympathetic as the previous editor,” Sean said (via Express).
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Are Not Selling Much Compared To Prince William, Kate Middleton
Sean also said that the magazines’ directive of not putting Markle on the cover may have something to do with the fact that she and Prince Harry just don’t sell much.
“If they were still selling, they would still be on the front page but now, of course, is the emergence of Princess Kate, as the Americans like to call her. With Catherine moving forward in the next six months, she's going to see an avalanche of positive PR alongside her husband, HRH Prince William,” Sean added.
As of writing, there’s no news about Middleton appearing on the cover of an American magazine in an official capacity. But with her and Prince William’s upcoming trip to New York, the royal expert is convinced that the Cambridges would make front page news.
