Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 220 had a lot of major bombshells but there's one thing that people can't stop talking about. The latest chapter of Gege Akutami's manga has teased the return of Satoru Gojo and fans are getting ready for the epic comeback.
In Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 220, Kenjaku introduced two new rules to the Culling Game. The first one declared that the game will no longer bring in new players while the second entailed that the game will end when all players except Suguru Geto and Megumi Fushiguro are dead.
The players didn't take the new rules too well but were quick to consider their strategy. Maki Zenin determined that they could win if they defeat Kenjaku and Sukuna who had taken Megumi as his new vessel. She also pointed out that Satoru Gojo will come back.
Maki wasn't the only character who spoke about Gojo's return. Angel pointed out that their work will end when they undo Gojo's seal. Near the end of the chapter, Shoko Ieri reminisced about her friendship with Geto and Gojo and begged the latter to come back.
It's pretty clear that Satoru Gojo will be back in the manga pretty soon and fans are preparing for his epic return.
In the manga, Kenjaku managed to seal Satoru Gojo in the Prison Realm during the Shibuya Incident arc and Gojo has been sealed since then. That means he's missed out on everything that went down as Kenjaku started the Culling Game. With that in mind, we're expecting Gojo to be back in the next few chapters.
In the meantime, Gojo will play a major role in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 as the anime adapts his past story arc. The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen premiere in July 2023. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
