Every Shikigami of Megumi Fushiguro in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 is a component of the Zenin Family's hereditary skill known as the Ten Shadows Technique. Megumi can use the technique to summon ten different Shikigami to aid him in battle. To that end, Megumi employs the technique by casting each Shikigami using his own shadow as a medium.

If you're wondering what a Shikigami is, it refers to the familiar curses that Jujutsu sorcerers can summon and control through their cursed energy. Not everyone has the ability to summon a Shikigami. The user must be skilled and aware of their innate technique in order to summon a Shikigami.

In season 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen, we saw some of Megumi Fushiguro's Shikigami, such as his divine dogs, Nue the owl, Orochi the great serpent, a toad, and a max elephant, which only culminated in five of the Zenin Family's ten shadow techniques.

  1. Megumi Fushiguro’s Divine Dogs

In Episode 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen, we see Megumi Fushiguro's Divine Dogs battling the curse that has taken up residence on Itadori Yuji's campus. The Divine Dogs are a pair of twin wolves who are the first Shikigami to be given to every user of the Zenin Family's ten shadows technique.

Megumi summons the Divine Dogs by creating a shadow puppet of a dog's head. Megumi frequently summons the twin dogs, black and white in color, which Megumi regularly incarnates to defeat weaker curses, track scents, and guide Megumi during battles.

In line with this, Megumi’s black divine dog has been summoned into a more powerful form that can utilize the Divine Dog: Totality technique after inheriting the energy of its fallen white twin.

Megumi's Divine Dog: Totality technique is currently his most powerful Shikigami, capable of overwhelming the powerful Hanami with the black dog's incredible speed, power, and sneaking abilities.

  2. Megumi Fushiguro’s Nue

Nue made its anime debut in Episode 4. It resembles an owl-like figure with fast-flying abilities and the capacity to electrocute enemies with its wings. It serves as Megumi's offense and support whenever he is in trouble. Megumi summons Nue by clasping his hands together and forming a puppet with wings.

Megumi makes effective use of Nue's mobility and electric abilities. Megumi summons Nue to protect him with its orange-feathered skin whenever he is in danger. In terms of offense, Nue uses its electro-shocking abilities to surprise the opponent when they least expect it or when they are already vulnerable.

  3. Megumi Fushiguro’s Orochi

When summoned, Megumi Fushiguro's colossal snake, or Orochi, appears seemingly out of nowhere. It made its debut, like Nue, in Episode 4 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1.

Megumi Fushiguro can summon the Great Serpent by clasping his hands together and using his cursed energy to form a snake-head puppet. Orochi's abilities are inspired by real-life snakes, which can immobilize prey and strike opponents with fangs. The Great Serpent's power stems from its ability to catch the enemy off guard and leave them alone.

  4. Megumi Fushiguro’s Toad

Gama or Toad, Megumi Fushiguro's giant frog, can grab targets with its humongous tongue, as the name implies. It helps Megumi whenever one of his comrades, such as Nobara, is in trouble. Megumi considers Gama to be the weakest of his ten Shikigami.

Despite its appearance, it has the ability to ensnare the enemy and throw them with great force. Megumi summons Gama by clasping his hands and forming a toad puppet with his shadow.

In case you missed it, Nue and Gama can be combined to gain "The Well's Known Abyss," a new technique that is an extension of the Ten Shadows Technique. He first used this technique on Aoi Todo. Having said that, the technique is distinguished by small toads with wings that allow Megumi to contain his opponents.

  5. Megumi Fushiguro’s Max Elephant

Max Elephant, Megumi Fushiguro's most recent Shikigami, is summoned in Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 18. Megumi summons the elephant by using his hand to make an elephant-like puppet. However, in order to summon Max the Elephant, Megumi must set aside a large amount of cursed energy to produce the Shikigami.

Max Elephant can be used by flooding a large amount of water at its enemies and crashing them down with its massive weight. Megumi employs the Max Elephant not only as a distraction for a combo attack, but also to dispatch his opponents.
