Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 181 To Be Delayed Yet Again

People are already looking forward to the next chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen after what happened in the Sendai Colony arc. However, it looks like the next one after this week's chapter will be delayed. It has just been confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 181 will not be published next week!

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 181 was originally set to be featured in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #19 in early April. However, an update confirms that the chapter will not be published in the issue and will instead appear in Issue #20. Although the reason for the delay was not revealed, fans were quick to note that it may once again have something to do with creator Gege Akutami's health issues.

It's no secret that Jujutsu Kaisen has been repeatedly delayed due to Gege Akutami's ongoing health issues and although the mangaka has been able to deliver new chapters of the manga, fans are no longer surprised when there are delays. However, people are hoping that Akutami will be able to recover from the health issues.

The manga might be experiencing some delays but the franchise continues full speed ahead. It was previously confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen 0 has already earned over $27.7 million at the US box office just two weeks after its release in North America. In addition to that, the prequel film is now the 19th highest-grossing film in Japan with an amazing 13.16 billion yen haul in the country. With that in mind, 2022 is a huge year for the franchise.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 180 will be published in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #18 later this week. The manga will not be featured in the next issue. Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 181 will then appear in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #20.
