The recent talk of the town, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, with the casting of Will Poulter as Adam Warlock in the upcoming film, Marvel dropped another big news and it would be the delay of some films in the fourth phase of the MCU. This made everyone wonder whether there would be an effect on the schedule of the movie, what is its status, and whether there is a revealed new release date.
Is Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Delayed?
Just recently, Marvel announced that various movies like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, got delayed due to some scheduling concerns and it shocked the fans who are waiting for such a long time, only to find out that there would be another period to wait for the movies.
Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is expected to be the full-fledged debut of Adam Warlock who was teased in the second installment of the franchise. However, with the arrival of a new one comes the demise of another as it is expected that one or a few characters are about to make their exit after a colorful life in the MCU.
Luckily, for Guardians of the Galaxy 3, the moved schedule only extends up to Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania which will be happening before the film of the band of misfits of the universe coming together in one place and movie.

Guardians of the Galaxy 3 retains its original schedule, so far, and it seems that there is no part of it that would be delayed. It is currently an ongoing project especially making some noise as Adam Warlock has been cast recently. Currently, the movie just started filming as confirmed by Chris Pratt.
Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will premiere in theaters on May 5, 2023 which means that the moved schedule of the other films would be quite cramped before this film arrives.
