Is Army of Thieves Good? Rotten Tomatoes Score Says So


Army of Thieves is a few days away before it arrives on the streaming platform and while many are curious whether it would be good or not following the mixed reactions of viewers on Army of the Dead, its Rotten Tomatoes score says so, having a “Fresh” rating as of the time of writing.

Army of Thieves is off to a powerful start days before the release on the streaming platform as it has been rated “Fresh” in Rotten Tomatoes, having 69% and the prequel to the Army of the Dead of Zack Snyder directed by the lead star Matthias Schweighöfer as he reprises his role as Ludwig Dieter continues with the heist in the early days of the zombie outbreak.

Ludwig Dieter is known as the one who opened the safe for the team in Army of the Dead and with Army of Thieves, it is set six years before the first film wherein the zombie outbreak was just about to start when Ludwig was hired by a woman for a heist with a misfit of aspiring thieves to pull it off with him.

Army of Thieves is the second film in the franchise of Army of the Dead on Netflix and it is directed by Matthias Schweighöfer, written by Shay Hatten which is based on the story that he co-wrote with Zack Snyder.

Months before the release of Army of the Dead on Netflix, the prequel has already been confirmed and Zack Snyder officially announced the title in April this year. An animated series is also tied into the franchise titled Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas and a sequel.

Army of Thieves stars Matthias Schweighöfer as Ludwig Dieter, Nathalie Emmanuel as Gwendoline, Guz Khan as Rolph, Jonathan Cohen as Delacroix, Ruby O. Fee as Korina, Stuart Martin as Brad Cage, Peter Simonischek, Noemie Nakai as Beatrix, and, John Bubniak as Christopher.

Army of Thieves arrives on Netflix on October 29, 2021.
