Army of The Dead Prequel Movie Gets Official Title: Army of Thieves

Army of The Dead isn't released until next month and yet, its prequel film for Netflix already gets its very own title way ahead of its release, it will be officially called Army of Thieves.

The famous director who recently got his Snyder Cut thanks to the fans who sincerely believe in his vision and called for its release, Zack Snyder returns to zombie films with Army of The Dead, years after his remake of the Dawn of the Dead. The film will be on Netflix in a month.

Get ready for zombies in Las Vegas as Army of The Dead takes us to the story of a group of mercenaries taking on the biggest gamble they will ever take in their life as they enter the quarantine zone following a zombie outbreak in the City of Lights, Las Vegas, in their attempt to pull off the greatest and deadliest heist.

The film will be starred by Matthias Schweighöfer who will play Ludwig Dieter and he will be joined by Game of Thrones' Nathalie Emmanuel, The Duke's Stuart Martin, Guz Khan, Jonathan Cohen, Ruby O. Fee. Some of these characters will be reprising their roles in the prequel film which just got its official title of Army of Thieves.

Synder revealed the title during the Q&A following the release of the trailer for Army of The Dead trailer.

This prequel film will follow the characters in the early days of the zombie outbreak heavily focusing on the backstory of Ludwig Dieter and how he loves cracking safes and why such a safe is extremely significant to him in the Army of The Dead.

Army of The Dead arrives via Netflix on May 21, 2021. Army of Thieves is in development and is expected to be released this year as well.

Seems like 2021 is the year of Zack Snyder. Way to go!
