Asian Kung-Fu Generation and Naruto's Long-Time Collaboration
Asian Kung-Fu Generation is one of Japan’s most popular rock bands that has been active since 1996.
While well-known among the general public, the band is also incredibly popular among anime fans as they made various iconic anime openings.
Among these are Re:Re: for Erased, Rewrite for the original Fullmetal Alchemist, Maigo Inu to Ame no Beat for The Tatami Galaxy, Demachiyanagi Parallel Universe for Tatami Time Machine Blues, and more.
Though arguably their most popular song for an anime is Haruka Kanata which is the second opening song for Naruto.
This song is no doubt one of the most popular songs in the whole run of Naruto, up there with the likes of Silhouette and Blue Bird.
That’s not the only song that the band made for Naruto though. Asian Kung-Fu Generation also made the song Blood Circulator which was used in one of Shippuden’s openings.
On top of this, the song Soredewa Mata Ashita was also used in the Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie, which was released back in July 2012.
