Hunter x Hunter: Yoshihiro Togashi Shares Health Update, Addresses Manga's Return

In case you missed it, Hunter x Hunter is getting more chapters very soon, as confirmed by Yoshihiro Togashi. The manga creator has even been the one sharing updates on the new characters, posting them on his new Twitter account.

Interestingly, the Hunter x Hunter latest update reveals more about Yoshihiro Togashi himself as he drops some news on his health. In addition to that, the mangaka offered advice to his fans telling them to be careful about their health!

The update comes in line with a new Hunter x Hunter exhibit in Japan in October. In addition to announcing the upcoming exhibit, a statement from Yoshihiro Togashi was shared and interestingly, he finally spoke up about his health issues.

"I have been unable to sit in a chair to draw for about two years, but I have managed to resume writing by giving up the traditional way of doing things. Everyone, please take care of your hips," the mangaka wrote. He then shared some surprising details of his ordeal.

"Until two weeks ago, before I wrote this, I was unable to wipe my a-- and had to take a shower every time I took a sh-t. Every movement takes 3 to 5 times longer than a learned person. The back is important," Togashi wrote.

He concluded his message with advice for fans who will be attending the exhibit.

"Therefore, I strongly recommend when you drop something at the exhibition, you should pick it up in a sitting position," Togashi wrote.

It's certainly sound advice and one that fans of all ages should take note of. We're hoping that Yoshihiro Togashi is staying healthy and that his fans are taking care of their health as well.

For now, the new chapters have not yet been given a release date. In the meantime, the Hunter x Hunter exhibition is happening in October 2022.
