The Guardians of the Globe are out in space to bring the missing astronaut back home. While coming up against the manipulated astronaut, how does Atom Eve survive the Sequids in Invincible season 2 episode 6? Here's what happened.

How Atom Eve and Rudy Survived the Sequids
Even though Atom Eve successfully brought all members of the Guardians of the Globe right into the targeted spaceship, she is rendered unconscious for using her powers too much.
While unconscious, Shapesmith tries to protect her and Rudy aka Robot, as the latter calibrates his machine that could destroy the Sequids from possessing Rus Livingston.
However, Shapesmith can only last for long as he can feel the Sequids trying to sink their teeth into his skin.
Thankfully, Eve wakes up and keeps protecting herself with Rudy inside her force field. That is until two stray Sequids end up ambushing them from behind, taking control of their minds for a short time.
Invincible may have used Rudy's device to prevent the Sequids from possessing Rus, but thankfully, there was still "some juice left" and saved Atom Eve and Rudy from being manipulated under their control.
But hang on a minute, is it that easy to fight off the Sequids from manipulating you? Just how strong are they?

How Strong are Sequids in Invincible Season 2?
The parasitic aliens called Sequids are alien life forms that possess the power to control the minds of any other species.
They were first introduced in Invincible season 1 when Mark hitched a ride on the rocketship of the U.S. astronauts that went to make their landing on Mars.
There, one astronaut was held captive, and that was Rus. Rus was replaced by Shapesmith, a Martian who can transform into any shape or form he wishes.
The Sequids are not necessarily stronger than Invincible and the Guardians of the Globe, however, their strength comes in their numbers, which made the battle between them harder to fight off against this season 2.
It is worth mentioning that all it took for the Sequids to get off Rus was to use Rudy's device.
Once Rus returns to Earth, he decides to declutter the house he hasn't been to since he had gone missing. While he was cleaning up, a stray Sequid ended up possessing him once again.
Will Rus ever truly be free from the aliens? We'll have to keep watching to find out.
