Who Is Delta in The Eminence in Shadow?
As the Greek alphabet letter of her name indicates, Delta is the fourth member of the Shadow Garden and the third girl that Alpha recruits into her cause against the Diablos Cult.
She's a sweet and rather naive Beastkin Wolf who loves to be praised. Her brute force is a significant asset for the Shadow Garden, but she lacks other notable skills.
The Eminence in Shadow Delta Death: Was It Real?
Despite apparently featuring Delta's death, The Eminence in Shadow later confirms that she's alive and well.
The beloved wolf-like character appears in the last minutes of The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 Episode 6, and fans assumed she got killed by Juggernaut, as she stormed into a fight, running outside of viewers' field of vision.
Immediately, a large quantity of blood is splattered on the wall, suggesting Delta's death, or at least, that she got seriously injured.
Of course, we hear Juggernaut groaning in pain, while Delta curiously expresses her surprise at discovering his identity.
Her voice holds no trace of pain, which already suggests that she was not fatally wounded as suspected.
Delta's Mission Explained: What Is She Doing Now?
In The Eminence in Shadow, Delta's death is presumed by her fellow Shadow Garden members due to the mission Cid Kagenou gives her in Season 2.
Specifically, Delta is tasked with helping him eliminate Juggernaut, one of the Lawless City's Three Monarchs, also known as the Tyrant.
Delta departs for the Lawless City. Because she is absent for quite a while, the other Shadow Garden members presume that she is dead.
However, she eventually manages to kill Juggernaut, presumably by cutting his head.
At a later point, she returns to her friends, who are delighted to see that she survived.
In The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 Episode 7, Delta assists Cid who digs in the snow, thinking that his stolen gold is still buried.
Eventually, Cid gives up, but Delta goes on after he takes his leave and finds something strange in the snow.
Not only does Delta not die, but her discovery is likely going to play an important role in The Eminence in Shadow's Season 2 endgame if the manga and light novel of the isekai anime are to be believed.
