Ahead of its upcoming Spring 23 premiere, Edens Zero Season 2 shared its latest trailer that highlighted new cast members along with its April release date.

The new trailer and voice cast members were revealed via the show’s official website and Twitter account.

Specifically, there are four new voice actors who will join the show’s returning voice cast.

From Season 1, Takuma Terashima will return as Shiki Granbell, and he will once again be joined by Mikako Komatsu as Rebecca Bluegarden.

As for the new voice cast members, the first one is Taku Yashiro who will play Laguna. Yashiro is best known for voicing Gugu in To Your Eternity, as well as Natsuo Fuji in Domestic Girlfriend and Hirokazu Arai in Chainsaw Man.

Next is Rumi Ookubo who will play Sylph in Edens Zero Season 2. Ookubo’s best-known role is no doubt Kuro no Rider (or Astolfo) in Fate/Apocrypha. She is also the voice of Nona in Death Parade and Sharon in Engage Kiss.

Another new voice cast member is Toshiki Masuda who voices Kirishima in My Hero Academia, as well as Rei Sakuma in Ensemble Stars. In Edens Zero Season 2, Masuda will voice the new character, Fie.

Last but not the least, we have Atsushi Imaruoka who plays Daichi in the new season. He is best known for voicing Rudol von Stroheim in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Cobra in Fairy Tail.

Along with the main cast, the new trailer also highlighted the show’s theme song entitled Never say Never by Takanori Nishikawa. He is also the singer for the first season’s theme song.

Edens Zero's first season aired back in April to October 2021, and it was streamed outside of Japan on Netflix.

Meanwhile, Season 2 is confirmed to air in Japan on April 1 at 24:55 JST (essentially April 2 at 12:55 AM JST).

While the show is set to air in Japan this April, there’s no word yet on when it will be released internationally.

Given the first season though, we expect it to also be streamed on Netflix this Spring 23.
