Perhaps to alleviate a few of fans' hyperventilating at the possible thought that Kris Marshall will be filling the shoes of Peter Capaldi as the Thirteenth Doctor for season 10, the new teaser for Doctor Who Season 10 has dropped with a few teasers.
For starters, two incarnations of Master were seen within those 30 precious seconds. There's Missy (Michelle Gomez), which also hints that she may be appearing in the upcoming season.
But in the parting shot of the teaser, fans also get to glimpse that familiar scheming and brooding face of John Simm. This isn't the only thing dropped, as there were also shots of the regeneration happening.
It would be nice to think of a team-up between the two Master incarnations, but Missy isn't expected until episode 6 as well as the finale. Still, fans can expect the original Cybermen looks and Ice Warriors.
More than the trailer, fans may be interested to note that the Christmas Special may also have a surprise. According to Mirror, David Bradley may be reprising his role as the First Doctor. Supposedly, the First's role is to aid Capaldi in his last hurrah in the TARDIS.
Everything's shaping up to be quite the big exit for Capaldi, as this is expected to be his last foray as the Time Lord. Now, if only fans can be given some breathing room with the knowledge of who will be replacing him.
