  1. Kanae Kocho

As the former Flower Hashira, it is no surprise that Kanae Kocho made it to this list.

For context, a demon slayer will only be considered a Hashira if they are able to kill more than 50 demons or eliminate one of Muzan’s Demon Moons.

The Flower Breathing Technique user is known for her above-average skills in combat and fighting.

Her greatest fight was with Upper Rank Two, Doma. The two faced off until sunrise, proving once again how strong Kanae was.

However, he was able to injure her fatally, costing her her life. She still tried to kill him towards the end, but the demon was able to escape.

  2. Susamaru

During the Asakusa arc, Susamaru surprised everyone with her strength. Despite not being part of the Twelve Kizuki, the demon caught Nezuko and Tanjiro off guard with her immense strength.

Her main ability is to control temaris or Japanese handballs. She can destroy her target’s limbs and follow the target anywhere they go.

She didn't make it as part of the Twelve Demon Moons despite her strength because she needed to be smarter than the others.

She died when she spoke Muzan’s name -- a demonic curse for all of Muzan’s demons.

If only she had been thinking straight, she could’ve been a troublesome enemy for the demon slayers.

  3. Mukago

Mukago was once part of Muzan’s Lower Rank Demons. We only saw a glimpse of her abilities after she overpowered Tanjiro and Inosuke.

One thing that proves her strength is the fact that she was a Lower Rank Four Demon, which means she surpassed other demons, including the demons Tanjiro and the others faced.

It's such a shame we didn't get to see her in more action.

  4. Tamayo

Tamayo is not just an ordinary healer as she's one of the crucial characters that helped end Muzan’s reign as the Demon King.

Like Nezuko, Tamayo is a demon working with the Demon Slayer Corps. What makes her powerful is that her Blood Demon Art targets demons, not humans. Her main skill is creating spells using her blood.

Some examples of her spells are making demons confess and get hallucinations, but these are just the tip of the iceberg.

Tamayo’s greatest strength is her medical skills. She was the first person to convert a human into a demon and vice versa.

She was also able to create a drug that could weaken Muzan. Without her, the Demon Slayer Corps would have lost the fight against Muzan.

  5. Nakime

Nakime is the Upper Rank Four Demon. Her power does not focus on physical strength, but rather, she manipulates the Infinity Castle, where Muzan and the Twelve Kizuki meet.

She can change the areas of the castle, create infinite rooms, and make looping portals.

Another proof of her strength is that she was the last Demon Moon to die. It was even Muzan who decided to kill her for his own benefit.

Perhaps, if the Demon King did not do that, we could've seen more of Nakime and her abilities.

  6. Kanao Tsuyuri

Like her adoptive sister, Kanao also uses the Flower Breathing Technique. She joined the Demon Slayer Corps along with Tanjiro, though we don’t see her skills until her fight against Doma, the Upper Rank Two Demon.

Doma was the one who killed Kanao’s sisters, Kanae and Shinobu. Through her training and skills, Kanao is considered of the strongest female characters as she is the only demon slayer who was able to break Doma’s temperament.

She also contributed to the fall of Muzan and saved Tanjiro when he turned into a demon.

Sadly, Kanao suffered fatal injuries in the process, making her partially blind.

  7. Shinobu Kocho

Shinobu is the Insect Hashira who uses the Wisteria poison. She does not use much of her physical strength as the poison is strong enough to eliminate demons.

She is also known for her intelligence and is usually one step ahead of her enemies.

She used the same strategy when she faced Doma. She ingested a huge amount of Wisteria poison that he eventually acquired after he ate her.

Even though she died (like most of the Hashira), it was worth it as she was able to take revenge on the demon who killed her sister.

  8. Daki

Daki is one of the most iconic characters in Demon Slayer. She is the Upper Rank Six who faced Tanjiro and the others during the Entertainment District arc.

Her main ability is manipulating her Obi, which is also known as the traditional Japanese belt. This weapon can slash enemies despite their distance.

It's almost impossible to dodge and counter her attacks as her Obi moves with immense speed and power. She can also manipulate flesh, which helps her with her disguise.

Her weakness is that she is dependent on her brother, Gyutaro. Her powers were definitely stronger than his, but she was used to having him save her all the time, which eventually led to their deaths.

  9. Mitsuri Kanroji

Mitsuri is the Love Hashira whose sword transforms into a whip. It is flexible and strong enough to kill demons in one attack.

Her muscular composition differs from the rest as she can make her muscles dense up to eight times over the normal.

Her endurance was also above average, and she was able to keep her body’s structure even after an intense hit.

Since she had a Demon Slayer Mark, Mitsuri was able to boost her abilities further.

Manifesting this mark provides her with improved endurance, strength, and precision.

As the Love Hashira, Mitsuri used the Love Breathing Technique that incorporates superhuman flexibility and a whip-like sword.

Her attacks are based on the Flame Breathing Technique, which explains why she can also use the said breathing style.

Sadly, she died during the battle against Muzan. She suffered extreme wounds and lost both of her arms.

  10. Nezuko Kamado

Of course, it would be impossible not to have Nezuko on this list. Throughout the series, Nezuko won against strong Upper Rank Demons, proving her strength.

She is also the only demon who can withstand the sun, a trait that even Muzan doesn't have.

Nezuko can regenerate and boost her power without consuming human flesh. All she needs is sufficient sleep, and she is already unbeatable.

She also has an Awakened Form, which boosts her demonic abilities and physical attributes.

Her Blood Demon Art is Pyrokinesis, which allows her to release and manipulate demonic flames.

The flames can injure demons and heal humans, making it a convenient technique in battle.
