Hugh Jackman's multiverse-shattering inclusion in Deadpool 3 is undoubtedly one of the biggest bombshells ever dropped in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And it looks like the X-Men actor's MCU tenure will be quite lengthy, especially after rumors surfaced that he'll be one of the central characters in the ongoing Multiverse Saga which culminates in Avengers: Secret Wars.

There's also a report making the rounds all over the internet that the third Deadpool film will also feature several Wade Wilson and Logan variants. Now, it looks like the identity of one of Wolverine's multiversal counterparts has been revealed.

According to a recent report from Giant Freakin Robot, Deadpool 3 will see the return of Karl Urban to the MCU but instead of playing Skurge, the character he brought to life in Thor: Ragnarok, the star of The Boys will allegedly play a Wolverine variant.

Urban has long been a favorite amongst fans when it comes to fantasy castings for Logan and there's always a chance Marvel Studios would go that route just for fan service alone. If you may recall, that's how John Krasinski was cast as Mister Fantastic in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in the first place.

Just recently, it was also reported that Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe will also be joining the anticipated MCU project as another one of Wolverine's variants but as it stands, all rumors surrounding the fan-favorite mutant remain unconfirmed so it's still best to take everything you see with a huge grain of salt.

Hopefully, Deadpool 3 will be able to present the multiverse concept better than Doctor Strange 2 did because it doesn't really matter how many cameos they plan on doing, it still goes down to the execution.

Deadpool 3 is slated for release in theaters on May 3, 2024.
