Deadpool 3 and Venom 3 to Resume Filming as Actors' Strike Ends

Deadpool 3 and Venom 3 were among the major Hollywood productions that ceased production when the actors' strike started last July and, since then, everyone has been waiting for them to resume which obviously would depend on whether the studios agree on a fair contract with the guild.

Fortunately, yesterday, the news that everyone has been waiting for finally arrived as the actors' guild SAG-AFTRA announced a tentative agreement with the AMPTP (which represents the studios) for a new deal, effectively ending the strike.

As a result, all productions that stopped at the beginning of the strike are set to resume soon and all actors are expected to either go back on set, promote their films and TV shows, campaign for awards season, and get cast in projects.

Deadpool 3, Venom 3, and Other Projects Will Resume Filming Again

According to Deadline, Deadpool 3 and Venom 3 are among the major Hollywood productions that are set to resume production either this week or in the very near future following the end of the actors' strike.

Gladiator 2, Beetlejuice 2, and Clint Eastwood's Juror No. 2 are also some of the other productions that will resume work as well. All of them are being prioritized by the studios in order to still make it on their planned release in theaters next year.

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is also set to resume voiceover recording for the cast members very soon following the end of the strike. Meanwhile, the first DCU film Superman: Legacy is now aiming to begin filming in March next year.

There is no doubt that this is exciting news for fans who have been patiently waiting for the aforementioned upcoming films to begin production again. Most importantly, it's also great to hear that the actors are finally getting a fair deal and compensation so that they can work properly again.

We can now expect more news and updates for many projects in the coming days or weeks now that the strike is over. For now, we can celebrate the fact that the guild finally had a deal that they wanted, and the actors that we know and love can also start working again.
