While it may not be as widespread as the isekai genre, anime fans have no shortage of music-related anime to choose from, whether it’s classical, jazz, or even rock music.

In fact, similar to Blue Orchestra, many anime also feature student musicians. Just last season, there was Bocchi the Rock!

Looking back to previous years, there are shows such as Hibike! Euphonium, Your Lie in April, and more.

Blue Orchestra’s premise may be familiar to anyone who has seen a music anime, but it still promises to be a must-see for fans of the genre.

Yes, this anime might remind you of other shows given that it follows a young high school student who has lost his passion for music.

However, it does promise to be worth watching as the manga that it’s based on is highly praised.

The manga source material began serialization back in 2017, and it was soon awarded the Best Shonen Manga award at this year’s Shogakukan Manga Awards.
