Captain Marvel star Brie Larson recently confirmed that she auditioned for a role in 2016's Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. However, that's not the only Lucasfilm project she tried out for.

During a recent video on her YouTube channel, Larson clarified that she actually auditioned for all the new movies set in the galaxy far, far away. While recalling the projects she auditioned for, the actress revealed that she tried out for Gossip Girl, Hunger Games, and Tomorrowland too. "I auditioned for all of the new Star Wars movies, and I didn't get it," she said. "I don't even know why I'm saying I didn't get it. Like, you know I didn't."

Larson trying out for the new Star Wars films suggests that aside from likely auditioning for the part of Jyn Erso in Rogue One, she might have tried out for the parts of Rey for The Force Awakens and Qi'Ra for Solo: A Star Wars Story as well.

Of course, the actress is now a part of the iconic Marvel franchise, taking on the role of Captain Marvel, which is set to get a second outing. While she didn't get the parts for Star Wars, given her love for the franchise, it's likely that Larson won't give up in doing so.

Having starred alongside Mace Windu actor Samuel L. Jackson in Captain Marvel, add the fact that Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige is confirmed to be developing a new Star Wars movie, perhaps there could be a part waiting for her in the galaxy far, far away.
