After the first season, fans have begun going on pilgrimages to the show’s real-life locations. Though it’s not only fans doing so as the main Bocchi the Rock! voice actresses also tried recreating iconic moments from the anime in real life.
Recently, Bocchi VA Yoshino Aoyama and Nijika VA Sayumi Suzushiro shared their recreations of a memorable Bocchi moment.
Though even before this, Suzushiro and the others have also recreated other scenes, which they shared in the ongoing Bocchi the Rock! radio show.
Bocchi VA Radio Show
Many TV anime are promoted with radio shows and live streams that are hosted by their respective voice cast members.
Bocchi the Rock! is no exception as there’s an ongoing Bocchi the Radio! show as well as several live streams.
A month ago, a live stream entitled Bocchi the Talk! went live featuring the voice actresses of Bocchi, Nijika, Ryo, and Kita.
During the hourlong stream, the four spoke about their fun experiences during recording.
They also mentioned how Bocchi’s glitch screech was not computer-generated as it was voiced by Aoyama herself.
Aside from the fun recording stories, they also shared their excitement about the anime in general.
So much was their excitement that some of them recreated some of the scenes in the anime when they visited Shimokitazawa.
Specifically, Suzushiro said that she spotted the park where Nijika found Bocchi in Episode 1.
After spotting it, Suzushiro couldn’t help but recreate Nijika’s “Woah Gitaaa” scene from the first episode.

Bocchi and Nijika VAs Recreate Anime Scene
The “Woah Gitaaa” recreation wasn’t the only time Suzushiro and the other cast members re-enacted the anime’s scenes.
Recently, it seems that Suzushiro and Aoyama met up again at Shimokitazawa, possibly for another radio episode.
On Twitter, the two of them shared pictures where they stood in front of a row of vending machines in Shimokita. This is the exact location where Nijika talked to Bocchi and bought her a cola in Episode 5.
As expected, fans loved the tweets from the two voice actors as not only are their posts accurate recreations, but the scene itself is a memorable and touching moment that shows Nijika and Bocchi’s deepening relationship.
It’s fair to say that both fans and the show’s cast have fallen in love with Bocchi the Rock!
Because of this, it won’t be surprising to see a second season get announced sometime soon. After all, Bocchi the Rock! was one of 2022’s biggest surprise hits.
