What is supposed to be a vacation led to Method Entertainment CEO Wang Tae Ja's death. His wife wants to sell his shares in the company, but the managers want to save it.

After Wang Tae Ja died, Chun Je In clarifies the rumor about the CEO's death when she meets her talent, Hee Jun. Ma Tae O also asks his staff to send a script to Tae Hyeon.
Method Entertainment holds a meeting and discusses the funeral plans for the late CEO. But while doing so, Ma Tae O and Chun Je In argue over Wang Tae Ja's seat and their actors. Her best friend, Kim Jung Don, tries to comfort her after the argument and talks about their failed love lives, including the possibility of them having a child together.
So Hyun Joo, meanwhile, receives another advice from Chun Je In as a newbie manager. But once again, she commits a mistake and delivers a wrong gift to an actor.
After receiving another punishment, she meets Go Eun Gyeol.
Kim Jung Don tries casting Sun Kyu in a movie, but Chun Je In believes only Hee Jun can do it. While trying to continue the company's legacy after the CEO's death, Wang Tae Ja's wife calls for a meeting to inform them about her desire to sell the company. Ma Tae O, Chun Je In, Kim Jung Don, and Jang Myung Ae feel shocked about it, but the director suggests they will buy the late CEO's shares instead. Chun Je In, however, refuses to help them as she thinks the director is using them to become Method Entertainment's CEO.

Meanwhile, Sun Kyu and Hee Jun start competing over one role because Chun Je In and Kim Jung Don tell them about the role separately. He tells her that her attitude was the reason why Wang Tae Ja did not appoint her as the director.
So Hyun Joo, meanwhile, meets Go Eun Gyeol again and helps him with his Busan dialect for his next role. To express his gratitude, the actor asks her to drink and gets closer to her.
During Wang Tae Ja's funeral, Sun Kyu and Hee Jun start arguing after learning that the former gets cast in the film instead.
Method Entertainment staff and workers send the CEO to his last resting place. Although the two actors always have misunderstandings, they both show their love for Wang Tae Ja by singing his favorite song.
Although they promise not to fight anymore, Chun Je In and Kim Jung Don both do something to make the two actors part of the film.
Toward the end of Behind Every Star episode 2 shows So Hyun Joo bumping into Ma Tae O's wife. She learns that Go Eun Gyeol is Ma Tae O's son, and the director tells her to stay away from his family.
