Huang Zitao, a former EXO member, sparked dating rumors with S.M.ROOKIES ex-trainee, Xu Yiyang.
Dating in the K-pop industry may be prohibited depending on the agency. For Huang Zitao and Xu Yiyang, they became the center of rumors after both leaving SM Entertainment.
Huang Zitao was promoted as Tao with EXO starting 2012 until 2015. Meanwhile, Xu Yiyang served as a trainee from 2016 to 2018. She then left SM Entertainment and joined Huang Zitao’s L. TAO ENTERTAINMENT.
Although they are labelmates, the two sparked dating rumors recently after paparazzi spotted them together.

Huang Zitao, Xu Yiyang Dine Together
ChinaPress released exclusive photos of Huang Zitao and Xu Yiyang dining together alongside the former EXO member’s mother.
Paparazzi who captured their photos also noticed that they were wearing couple jackets. They are yet to release a statement to address the new photos, but it was not the first time the public found evidence that they might be dating.

In February, a fan found clues on Weibo which reportedly proved that the two were in a romantic relationship. One of the evidence includes a photo of golden dragon rings which Huang Zitao uploaded.
The four dragons and a sheep in Chinese are Si Long Yi Yang — which is similar to the ex-trainee’s name. This made fans think that the former K-pop idol expressed his love for her through the image.
A Chinese blogger also found Huang Zitao and Xu Yiyang’s gaming accounts, and they are a couple in that game.
Huang Zitao Denies Dating Rumors
Following the dating buzz earlier this year, he released a statement about the dragon and sheep photo saying that the rings were just rings.
“What should I say, what are the things that I have to make clear? Do I have to clarify all of your delusions? It’s just a photo. What more should I say?” he said.
Huang Zitao also told everyone he could show what’s on his phone to prove that he is not dating Xu Yiyang or anyone.
