BTS members Jin, Jimin, RM, Suga, V, J-Hope, and Jungkook, have been focusing on their individual endeavors after years of flourishing the group’s name. This will also give way to them to prepare ahead of their military service enlistments.
HYBE recently revealed that BTS members’ break as they individually serve in the military would affect the company’s sales. But the group recently proved that they can still outshine others without lifting a finger.
BTS Scores Historic Feat on Billboard
Billboard unveiled its updated ranking featuring the musicians that scored the most No. 1 records on its lists over a decade. According to BTS’ chart history on the website under Billboard Hot 100, the HYBE boy group successfully had six No. 1 hits, making it the music act that has the most No. 1 in the category.
BTS also has 10 Top 10 Hits released in the past decade and 26 total songs that appear on Billboard Hot 100.
Its hit song, Dynamite, appeared on Billboard Hot 100 chart for 32 weeks and stayed in the top spot for three weeks. Butter is in the third spot with the most weeks on the chart after Jawsh 685 x Jason Derulo’s Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat), which Suga and J-Hope also produced.
Other BTS songs that made it to the category include My Universe, Mic Drop, Boy With Luv, Permission to Dance, and Fake Love.
Among the tracks, its hit 2017 song DNA became its first Billboard Hot 100 hit.
BTS Jin Expanding Career Before Enlistment
BTS’ eldest member, Jin, is set to start his military service in December. Before that, the idol recently reached new milestones with his first solo single album, The Astronaut.
Following its release on October 28, Jin’s solo single of the same name sold over 770,000 copies in the first week of its release. According to Hanteo Chart, the BTS member is the third artist to surpass that mark a week after dropping the album, following Lim Young Woong for IM HERO and EXO Baekhyun’s Bambi.
