Aquatope on White Sand returned for another week. Episode 17 is just what you need if you had a tiring week at work. Not much happened, but this is a slice of life anime, so not much needs to happen for it to be fun!

The original 24-episode anime reminds us to take a break and try to enjoy life outside of work. A pretty straightforward message, but it's amazing how often we can forget!

The previous episode made me cry with Haebaru's backstory. In comparison, Episode 17 of Shiroi Suna no Aquatope is pretty relaxed. After weeks and weeks of no overlap, Fuuka and Kukuru manage to take a day off together. Wanting to make their colleagues feel appreciated and help them relax, they invite them all to their place after work.

The Tingaara employees eat, exchange funny stories, and try aroma massages, with hilarious effects! Haebaru joins late in the evening with her son and finally gets to relax and enjoy dun times with the others. It's amazing to see that how happy her colleagues are to include her now that they know the reason for her previous coldness.

For the next episode, we expect to find ourselves back to Tingaara, with new shenanigans and new animals to admire!

Aquatope on White Sand Episode 18 Release Date

Aquatope of White Sand Episode 18 is going to air next Friday, the 5th of November for subscribed Crunchyroll users. Due to time zone differences, many international fans will be able to stream it from November 4 depending on where they are in the world. Non-subscribed users will have to wait an extra week, so they will be able to stream Episode 18 online in mid-November, but episode 17 will be available to everyone for free with ads by November 5.
