For the first time of all the series in the MCU, there would be a different introduction of a hero through a Disney Plus documentary short with A Fan’s Guide to Ms. Marvel. Kamala Khan will be the first one to get this treatment as others are given a preview with Marvel Studios: Legends. Here’s what to expect.
What to Expect in A Fan's Guide to Ms. Marvel?
Usually, a series or a movie in the MCU gets an episode of Marvel Studios: Legends to prepare for the upcoming release. The special series tackles the heroes, villains, and certain events in the Marvel Cinematic Universe looking at how everything is connected. This includes footage from the past appearance of the character featured.
However, since Ms. Marvel is a newcomer, it seems fitting that she would not have an episode of Marvel Studios: Legends just like Moon Knight didn’t but this time, Ms. Marvel will be getting a different documentary short: A Fan’s Guide to Ms. Marvel.
The documentary short will delve into the comic book origins of Kamala Khan, how her character developed for the series, and the production itself of the show.
This would be of great help to the fans especially with the change in Kamala Khan's powers from the comic books to the live-action series, what sparked the change, and how the creators of the character have approved of it.

Ms. Marvel will follow the story of 16-year-old Pakistani-American teen, Kamala Khan, who idolizes Captain Marvel and deals with high school like other kids. However, she encountered a life-changing moment when she found an ancient relic that when worn on the wrist, it gives her powers like her idols.
Iman Vellani will be portraying Ms. Marvel/ Kamala Khan and will be joined by Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Laith Naki, Azher Usman, Travina Springer, Nimra Bucha, and Laura Marsden. Reportedly, they would also be joined by Farhan Akhtar as well.
Ms. Marvel is scheduled for release on June 8, 2022, exclusively on Disney Plus.
