From the Kree Empire, Nega-Bands are ancient relics that whosoever wears it gains powers like energy manipulation and super strength. It could transform metal energy to physical ones. It is first seen in the comics of Captain Marvel #16 by Don Heck and Archie Goodwin. The first bearer of the bands is Captain Mar-Vell, a Kree hero, and while it changed over the years, it has been passed down until Kamala found it in their attic.

It seems so. Kamala Khan was given a gauntlet from her grandmother's stuff in Ms. Marvel Episode 1 which seem to be a Nega-Band and it gave her powers that feel cosmic, giving her the ability to punch her way through things, and even create steps midair to walk on. Her powers include energy manipulation which allows her to shoot energy blasts or make energy shields.

In the comics, Kamala Khan got her powers through her genes as she was transformed when the Terrigen Mist was released by Black Bolt to Earth. After she transformed through terrigenesis, she could extend her limbs to her will, change her physical appearance, and she could even shapeshift.

While the Inhumans are still far from making their MCU debut and considering that Kamala Khan’s character has been on a high demand that many fans are requesting for her arrival in the MCU all these years, they finally got Ms. Marvel coming into the franchise as Iman Vellani dons the suit, even when her powers were slightly altered to fit into the current narrative of the MCU.
