The third installment of Scott Lang, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will delve deeper into the quantum realm which was introduced in the second film and was heavily utilized in Avengers: Endgame that it became the key to finally bringing everyone back to life. However, with a delay recently announced, will the movie be affected? What is its status and when is the new release date?
Is Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Delayed?
The domino effect will be up until Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The first delay would be Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which will be taking the schedule of Thor: Love and Thunder and Thor’s movie would be pushed back to the schedule of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The second Black Panther film would be on the release date of Captain Marvel 2: The Marvels, and such would be filling in the original schedule of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
That being said, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, will be pushed further from its original release date of February 17, 2023, it would now be scheduled for its theatrical release on July 28, 2023. It would not be taking the schedule of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, as such retains its original release date of May 5, 2023.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is currently filming and in a recent update by Evangeline Lilly, who plays Hope Van Dyne, they are halfway through the production.

With these new release dates, the wait for the arrival of the next Marvel movie after this year would be quite longer than usual. But hey, if everyone could wait for almost a year of having no Marvel movie, the wait of five months would not be that long.
What makes it different this time is that there would be shows on Disney Plus such as Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, What if..? Season 2, Secret Invasion, and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. All these series would fill in the gaps between each film which still fills everyone’s calendar full of Marvel content.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is now scheduled for release on July 28, 2023.
