The Flash's Jay Garrick to Have a Bigger Role in Mid-Season

The third season of The CW's The Flashholds a lot of characters and teasers. However, some fans may have felt the lack of Jack Garrick's presence as the Golden Age Flash.

It appears that the latter half of the season will fix this, as actor John Wesley Shipp confirms that he will be a bigger part of the mid-season, CBR reported.

"Well, those hints keep being dropped. I mean, it's very interesting to me, and I'm going to figure in more prominently in the second half of the season than the first."

More than the expectations of greater things for The Flash in the second half of the season, Shipp also expressed his interest in the presence of legacy characters in recent TV series. Having portrayed Barry Allen 25 years ago and portraying the Golden Age Flash this time, Shipp feels like he adds to the fact that legacies in superheroes and superhero franchises are showing a great side to the experience.

What's great about this is the fact that we may be seeing more of the interaction between the young Scarlet Speedster and the Golden Age Flash, if we consider Shipp's hints that we'll be seeing more of him after The Flash's season break.

There's a lot to look forward to in The Flash, considering how new sightings of on-site filming hint at another Speedster in their midst.

The Flash stars Grand Gustin, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, Carlos Valdes, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Keiynan Lonsdale, and Violett Beane.
