BIGBANG Taeyang, Min Hyorin Expecting Baby No. 1 + G-Dragon Played HUGE Role in Relationship?

BIGBANG member Taeyang, and his wife, Min Hyorin, are finally expecting their first child together. Here's a brief history of how the couple met.

Hankook Ilbo first broke the news about Hyorin currently carrying her first child with Taeyang. The news outlet did not reveal more details about the actress' pregnancy journey, but Hyorin's agency immediately confirmed the news.

"It is true that Min Hyo Rin is expecting. She is waiting joyfully," the agency said, as quoted by Soompi. "As she hopes to give birth quietly, we ask for your understanding in not being able to respond to further questions."

The 35-year-old model is reportedly in the late stages of her pregnancy already and has been walking around Hannam with her husband in the past weeks.

The announcement of Taeyang and Hyorin's baby came years after tying knots in February 2018. The duo exchanged vows in front of their family and friends after three years of dating.

The story of one of the most looked-after couples in K-pop history began, thanks to Taeyang's co-member, G-Dragon.

G-Dragon Became Taeyang, Hyorin's Bridge

While fans are celebrating the emergence of the baby news, some recalled how Taeyang and Hyorin's relationship began.

In 2013, BIGBANG's vocalist was looking for a female star who could appear in the music video of his hit song, "1AM." G-Dragon suggested Hyorin for the role, and the idea was immediately approved by Taeyang, who saw the actress in the movie, "Sunny."

After their intimate music video filming, the duo began dating shortly after their first meeting.

Taeyang, a well-known romanticist, made Hyorin the inspiration behind her hit songs, including "Eyes, Nose, Lips."

Their relationship was some sort of a rollercoaster ride since the couple once broke up in the past. Reports never revealed why things temporarily ended between them, but fans assumed they only needed some time apart before getting back together.

Taeyang and Hyorin successfully went through the rough patch and said "I do" at a church in Gyeonggi, Seoul, on February 3, 2018.

The BIGBANG member had to spend two years away from his wife when he served his mandatory military service. But it did not stop him from making her fall in love with him. Taeyang would usually send her flowers and letters, while Hyorin would visit his military base every week to see him.
