With WandaVision arriving in a few hours, according to Parrot Analytics, interest in the series peaks with 22.3 times more than the average interest on other shows and it's just getting started as the series premiere draws closer. While it is too early to conclude, WandaVision is getting ahead of The Mandalorian when it comes to the interest in the show and even considering that the series hasn't started yet.

The flagship series of Disney+ The Mandalorian garnered the highest in terms of interest for the House of Mouse. Coming in second is High School Musical but The Mandalorian still did a whole lot better than all the releases of Disney+ combined. With WandaVision coming in, it is expected to bring up Disney+ to their much-needed views.

Why the hype?

Not only would WandaVision be the first Marvel limited series to be released on Disney+, but it would also be the kick-off of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe which makes it a canon; it will carry the torch of the future of the MCU. WandaVision fills in the drought of Marvel Fans and everyone is just as excited to see what the MCU has in store. Critics say that WandaVision is nothing like what MCU has done before and it will definitely step up the game as it will take everyone to a whole new level; there is no turning back from there. It brings everyone to a new era of storytelling for the MCU.

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, WandaVision will explore how Wanda Maximoff/ Scarlet Witch is coping up with everything that has happened. Set in a bizarre town where everything is surprisingly perfect and Vision is suspiciously alive given that he was killed off by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, Wanda will venture into a reality where she even gets the chance to have kids, twins to be exact.

The series will follow a classic ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s sitcom style and is confirmed to have commercials related to the whole MCU. The series will have nine episodes, having two on the day of the premiere.

While there is no confirmation yet if the series will be in DVD or Blu-ray, WandaVision premieres on January 15, 2021, on Disney+.
