Unfortunately, there are currently no plans for The Dropout to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray. The show was created exclusively for the streaming services Hulu and Disney+, and as such, it's the only place you can find it.

With Hulu/Disney owning the rights to The Dropout, they are the sole distributors of the series. This also helps the services to secure subscribers, which is why most shows are released per episode per week.

Having the show on DVD and Blu-Ray would mean a huge loss in subscribers, so it would be a counter-productive move. With that said, it is possible that the show will get a physical release at some point in the future.

However, DVD and Blu-Ray sales are dwindling, which is largely due to streaming services, as well as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In fact, streaming services have benefited enormously from the pandemic.

The lockdowns have also pushed digital sales over physical sales, so the movie theater isn't the only industry to have been hit hard. In other words, you should make the most out of streaming services - they aren't going anywhere!

There are many other benefits to streaming services too. While it's great to own a physical copy of your favorite movie or TV show, needless to say, they'll save you plenty of space in the long run.

If you want to check out this fascinating retelling of a true story, be sure to watch on Hulu if you're in the US, or on Disney+ via the STAR hub if you're in the UK.

So for now, you'll just have to make do with a digital "copy "of The Dropout - even if that copy is only available with an Internet connection!
