Are you wondering if and when the hit drama series Pam & Tommy will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray?
If you grew up in the '90s, you'll know what the Hulu/Disney+ series Pam & Tommy is about. It follows Baywatch megastar Pamela Anderson and her then-husband Tommy Lee, member of the rock band Mötley Crüe, in the wake of the sex tape controversy which stormed video stores and the Internet at the time.
Rand Gauthier, the disgruntled construction worker who robs their home, gets more than he bargained for when he comes across a raunchy video of Pamela and Tommy on their Cancun honeymoon. And when he decides to leak the tape for both revenge and financial gain, a whirlwind of controversy follows.
The leak came at a time when the Internet was in its early days, and has since been immortalized as the "first viral video". The show follows the aftermath on Pamela, her career, and her marriage. Lily James plays Pamela Anderson, and is barely recognizable in the role - she looks just like the Baywatch star.

There are only eight episodes in the Pam & Tommy series, and as it's based on a true story ("Pam and Tommy: The Untold Story of the World's Most Infamous Sex Tape" by Amanda Chicago Lewis), it's unlikely that there will be a Season 2. The first season also wraps up the story, with pre-credit captions.
Unfortunately, there are currently no plans for Pam & Tommy to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray. The show was created exclusively for the streaming service Hulu (and Disney+ in the UK), and as such, it's the only place you can currently find it (although be wary of bootleg physical copies on the Internet).
For now, Hulu and Disney+ are the only distributors of the series. This also helps the services secure subscribers - having the show available on physical release would mean that users may end their subscription with Hulu and Disney+, using them only to check out shows before purchasing hard copies.

With all that said, it is possible that the show will get a physical release at some point in the future. But it should be noted that DVD and Blu-Ray sales are also dwindling, largely due to streaming services, as well as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic (something streaming services have benefited from).
The lockdowns also pushed digital sales over physical sales, so the movie theater isn't the only industry to have been hit hard. So for now, you'll just have to make do with a digital "copy "of Pam & Tommy - even if that copy is only available with an Internet connection!

Pam & Tommy stars Lily James, Sebastian Stan, Seth Rogen, and Nick Offerman, who play Pamela Anderson, Tommy Lee, Rand Gauthier, and Uncle Miltie, respectively. It's now currently streaming on Hulu in the US and on Disney+ in the UK.
