The hit animated series Star Wars: Rebels (2014 - 2018) has long been a fan-favorite entry in the Star Wars franchise. But is it available on DVD and Blu-Ray? Sure, all four seasons are available on Disney+, but don't you want to binge-watch it without worrying about your Internet connection, or simply add it to your existing Star Wars collection? Or both?!

Rebels follows the Ghost crew, a group of rebels who will go on to become the spark that lights the fire that will burn the Galactic Empire down.
The characters are Twi'lek pilot Hera Syndulla, Lasat warrior Zed, Astromech droid Chopper, Mandalorian Sabine Wren, Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus, and Jedi Padawan Ezra Bridger.
Rebels takes place 14 years after Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008 - 2020), during the height of the Galactic Empire's rule over the galaxy. Many characters from the previous show appear in Rebels, such as Captain Rex, Bo-Katan Kryze, and Ahsoka Tano.
Rebels is made up of 75 episodes which span four seasons. Unlike The Clone Wars, Rebels is laid out in chronological order on Disney+, so you won't need to visit StarWars.com for an official guide.

You'll be glad to know that, unlike Star Wars: Visions (2021) and Star Wars: The Bad Batch (2021), Rebels is available to purchase on DVD and Blu-Ray. This is because the show existed long before Disney+ came along.
With that said, in terms of streaming, you will only find Rebels on Disney+. With Disney owning the rights to Star Wars, Disney+ is the sole distributor of the series.
This also helps the streaming service secure subscribers - having the show available on physical release would mean that users may end their subscription with Disney+, using it only to check out shows before purchasing hard copies.
Rebels isn't as long as series as The Clone Wars, though. And while it does serve as a sequel of sorts, bringing back many characters, its animation isn't quite up to par with its predecessor.

So, you can only buy Rebels seasons 1-4 on DVD and Blu-Ray, while all four seasons are also available to stream on Disney+.
And Rebels isn't the only animated Star Wars show on Disney+ - it's also home to the likes of The Clone Wars, Star Wars: Resistance (2018 - 2020), The Bad Batch, Visions, and a number of vintage Star Wars cartoons.
Several characters from the show have also been brought to life in live-action, such as Bo-Katan and Ahsoka Tano, who have appeared in The Mandalorian (2019) and The Book of Boba Fett (2021).
