From the start, all Kamala wanted is to understand more about why she got the bangle and became a hero because as she said, it is not usually the brown girls from New Jersey who saves the day. Well, after traveling back in time to 1947, will she finally meet Aisha in Ms. Marvel Episode 5 and get the answers that she needs?
Will Kamala Finally Meet Aisha In Ms. Marvel Episode 5?
In Ms. Marvel Episode 4, Seeing Red, when the blade of Najma and the bangle of Kamala met, Kamala got thrown off into some kind of a void that allowed her to travel back in time of the Partition in 1947 where the last train to Karachi is about to head off. That same night was the last night anyone had ever seen or heard of Aisha, her great-grandmother.
Now, Kamala knows a little more about her powers, thanks to Waleed and Sana, but given that she just traveled back in time without any clue as to how she would get back to the present, this may call for an intervention – Aisha.
As Aisha used the bangle, she felt the same surge of energy that Kamala experienced when she did the same. Given that they are relatives from the same lineage, it would be no surprise if they would be seeing each other in the past, in 1947, on the day Aisha was last seen and heard of.
It may be a shot in the dark but just as the Clandestines and the Red Dagger felt the Noor within Kamala, it would surely be the same in the case of Aisha. Unlike the Clandestines, Aisha has some primordial powers within her that unlocked the Noor from within her upon wearing the bangle.

In Ms. Marvel Episode 3, Destined, when Aisha and the Clandestines found the bangle off the hands of a Kree, they said they needed two. While it may cause some time paradox of having the same bangle at once, well, anything is possible within the MCU, right? Kamala may be the key for Aisha getting back to the Noor which may explain her disappearance that same night Kamala landed in.
In turn, Aisha may be the key for Kamala to get back to the present. See, the bangle quite evolved. When Waleed first saw it, it had no inscriptions but now, it has something that says “what you seek is seeking you,” and it would make a lot of sense for Kamala and Aisha to meet because Kamala is seeking answers and the answers may be with Aisha.
Will there be a great-grandmother and great-granddaughter reunion coming in the penultimate?
