Ms. Marvel Episode 3 Ending Explained: How Did Sana See The Same Train In Kamala's Vision?

Ms. Marvel Episode 3 finally unveils the villains of Kamala Khan and they are not from the same dimension. They are the Clandestines, known in the legends as the Djinn, and they are imprisoned from their dimension through being trapped on Earth 616 where they can’t use their powers of light.

The Clandestines are from the Noor Dimension and they seek Kamala for the bangle, their key to getting home. However, they weren’t asking. They used violence and in order for Kamala to save her whole family, she had to ruin the wedding of her brother, Aamir. While in the middle of a fight, Kamala had another vision, this time, with Najma, where they saw a train heading to Karachi.

Thankfully, Kamala escaped thanks to the intervention of the Department of Damage Control who apprehended the Clandestines. However, Sana called her the same night to tell her to go to Karachi with her mother because she also saw the train.

This begs the question of how Sana got the same vision. Also, Sana asks for Muneeba to come as well but surely, Muneeba, herself, didn’t get the same vision of the train to Karachi because she had no idea what happened during the wedding.

Ms. Marvel Episode 3 Ending Explained: Why Only Kamala and Muneeba Would Need to Go to Karachi?

As told in the first minutes of Ms. Marvel Episode 3, Aisha and the Clandestines used to work together to look for the bangle. While they needed two, they settled for one, the same bangle that Kamala is currently wearing. As per Najma, Aisha was also from the Noor Dimension but unknown to her, Aisha possessed a primordial power which the bangle activated.

So, why would only Kamala and Muneeba go to Karachi and why would Sana see the same vision of the train? The theory is this: the primordial power that Aisha had only passes to the women in the family, not to men. Only the women in the family carry the genes that have the power of light which is why Aamir is not included by Sana to go to Karachi.

This would also come down to the fact that should Muneeba wear the bangle, her powers would also be activated like that of Kamala. Sana, Kamala’s grandmother, may have possibly worn the bangle and claimed she had powers in the past which may have led to Muneeba thinking of her genes in Episode 1 as coming from a family of fantasizers.

Sana must have worn the bangle before because that is one of the only possible reasons why she saw the same vision as that of Kamala. She may have already unlocked her powers in the past but gave it up when she got Muneeba. Now, their past is coming for them and they have to face it all together.

Ms. Marvel Episode 3 is now streaming on Disney Plus.
