Ms. Marvel Episode 3, Destined, Kamala Khan learns a lot about her great-grandmother, Aisha, and she discovers that she belongs to a race from another dimension called as the Noor Dimension as Najma recollects the story of the last time Aisha was ever seen.

After saving Kamala from the Department of Damage Control, Najma takes Kamala to her house where Kamala meets with the other Clandestines. Najma tells Kamala that they found the bangle on a severed blue arm in the rubbles of a temple and it was Aisha who confirmed that the bangle is what they needed to get home to their dimension but they needed two and only one was there.

Aisha settles for one and that they have to try. They were being cornered by the British so they had to flee and Aisha got separated from the others. When Aisha wore the band, unknown to Najma, she felt the same surge of energy that Kamala had when she wore the bangle.

Najma reveals to Kamala that they are called as the Clandestines and legends call them many names but one stuck with Kamala, the Djinn. In lore, the Djinn is synonymous with demons and evil spirits possessing a person.

The next day, Kamala confides to Bruno who researched about the Djinn, thus, missing the party of the Khan family as they prepare for the wedding of Aamir. Yusuf enters Circle Q where Bruno is working and Yusuf sees that Bruno is reading about the Djinn. There, Yusuf offers to help Bruno in translating an Urdu text.

In the text Yusuf translated, it said that the Djinn are supernatural beings and there is “a group of hidden Djinn who are exiled from their home world and damned to live out their days trapped in our own. They move in the shadows, searching for the key that will get them home.” Bruno immediately knew that the key in the text is the bangle of Kamala.

See, the Clandestines cannot use their powers while on Earth but there is something in Aisha and Kamala that they can use their powers when using the bangle. Such needed primordial powers that may trace back to their ancestors. This hints that Aisha may be something like royalty or a hero in the Noor dimension but was exiled.

In the comics, there is a group called the Clan Destines who are Djinns. They exist in either human form or inanimate objects. Elalyth, a djinn, was trapped in a stone and Adam Destine freed the former. When they had a relationship, they got two children with abilities and they are called the Clan Destines.

In the MCU is going to this direction in Ms. Marvel, there is a huge possibility that Aisha and Kamala are direct descendants of the Elalyth and Adam which gives them the primordial power to access their powers even when on Earth and not in the Noor Dimension.

Ms. Marvel is currently streaming on Disney Plus.
