Ms. Marvel Episode 1 unveiled a lot of information about Kamala Khan and how she got her powers. However, there is still one thing missing in the picture: the villain. Still, there are a lot of Easter eggs in the first few minutes and throughout the run which may have teased the arrival of one known rival of the titular hero in the comics: The Inventor. Is he the big bad of the show?

Who Is The Villain in Ms. Marvel? Did Episode 1 Tease The Arrival Of The Inventor?
Ms. Marvel Episode 1 is definitely packed with a lot of information about the titular character, from her struggles in school, to her dilemma at home belonging to a strict family where her lineage and culture is seen. Kamala Khan is everything the word imaginative embodies and as she gets her powers, a villain remains absent in the picture.
However, throughout Ms. Marvel Episode 1, there are subtle teases to one known villain of the character straight out of the comics: Birdman, a.k.a. The Inventor. There’s the picture of a bird with question marks around it in the first part of the episode while Kamala is showing a run-through of what happened in Endgame.
There is also that subtle hint when Kamala is talking to Bruno on the rooftop while she expresses her stress at home for not being allowed to go to the AvengersCon. The signage behind them reads “Edison Electric.”

See, Birdman, a.k.a. The Inventor, is a well-known villain of Ms. Marvel from the comics. He is a scientist, Gregory Knox, who tried to clone Thomas Edison, the famous scientist. However, he unfortunately contaminated the DNA of the scientist with that of his pet bird, hence, being Birdman.
With some subtle hints to his arrival, could it be that Birdman, a.k.a. The Inventor is the villain of Ms. Marvel? It’s possible!
