Who is Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3?
In the post-credits scene of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Ayesha, the leader of the Sovereign people had been filled with rage and she unveils what she considers their saving grace whom she will be calling Adam.
After 5 years, only then did Adam come back to the spotlight.
In 2022, it has been confirmed that Will Poulter will be playing the character teased in Vol. 2 and it finally paid off when the first teaser of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 dropped as he is surely a scene stealer with his gold skin and stone on his forehead.
The Marvel comics would tell you that Adam Warlock is a hero but he is one who is unstable, much like Wanda Maximoff, and he has tendencies to lean on the other side, too.
Adam was originally called as "Him," in 1967 when he first appeared, and he got the name Adam Warlock in 1972.
Adam Warlock is a cosmic entity who has two intriguing aliases: the Master of All Souls and the Avatar of Life.
Adam Warlock is considered as the next evolution of humanity being perfect through genetic engineering.
He is also known to be the bearer of the Soul Stone, though the MCU didn't go with this one.

Being a rebel to his own creators, he came across the High Evolutionary who made Adam Warlock the hero of the universe who protects it from various threats like his own evil counterpart, Magus.
He later became part of the Guardians of the Galaxy as well.
Adam Warlock possesses a plethora of powers such as ultra senses, cosmic awareness, superhuman agility, strength, speed, stamina, and durability, and he could manipulate cosmic energy to fly and even recuperate with his own cocoon for self-preservation and regeneration.
He is immortal because while his physical body could die, his soul could not be reaped by Death, thus, not truly dying at all.
He also has quantum magic which allows him to control quantum energy for various purposes, even create wormholes and irregularities in space.
After Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Poulter teases his future as Adam Warlock in Comicbook.com. "It kind of hinges on how people respond to the character. If the fans don't like Adam Warlock, obviously I'm going to be pretty gutted."
