Following the heartfelt Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special which made everyone feel light, this time, there's an impending threat that could end the team.

At first, the place looks like a typical suburban community but nearing the place, the residents are not people, but animals who seem to be coming from an Earth-like planet or alternate reality, but that little goat girl got hit hard by Drax and it gets ugly.

Starting with an ominous hand about to get a baby rodent, everyone went "aww" upon seeing Baby Rocket with the face of sheer fear painted in his eyes, a memory from Halfworld that Rocket looks back to now that he is a genetically engineered raccoon.

Why is Gamora? Well, for the first time, she's back and she holds a Polaroid which could hold some memory of her and a reason for her to say, "I'm done running." This is 2014 Gamora, to clarify, because the other one already died when Thanos sacrificed her to get the soul stone and from there, there's no turning back.

In Knowhere, where the Guardians now live, no Gamora yet in the picture but the Guardians are complete but there's one thing noticeable. Why is Nebula carrying Star-Lord like he died? What happened to him? They weren't worried so is Star-Lord just unconscious?

Also, this teases that Kraglin and Cosmo the Spacedog are now part of the team which is a direct connection to their participation in Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, hopefully, Kraglin can now control the arrow, and Cosmo could now master telekinesis!

Chukwudi Iwuji makes his MCU debut as the High Evolutionary, a key figure to the horrific past of Rocket. In the comics, the High Evolutionary is known for experiments on genetic manipulation, and there's also a hamster wheel where a woman is running. He's a villain, from his stance.

The teaser of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 also shows that the Guardians end up getting together but from the looks of it, the place is nothing nice and they wear matching orange suits which suggests that they could be back in prison, going full circle, as they met in one in Vol. 1.

Also, the scene shows Drax getting shot badly in the chest and after being tickled by bullets in Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, this shot is surely something intergalactic to cause pain to Drax like that. Will Drax die in the movie?

One scene that made everyone worry is Rocket lying down the floor with what seems like a scar on his cheek and while there were theories that suggest Rocket would be dying in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, no one is actually prepared to see Rocket die!

See, after that scene of Rocket, the emotions are heightened because Star-Lord wails and cries in pain as if someone died. There is also a tube which could be an apparatus for medical purposes but what worries everyone is that this scene may be Star-Lord crying over someone who died.

Again, no one is prepared to see anyone die in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3!

Some real marsupial relationship going on, Rocket celebrates seeing Lylla Otter, the soulmate of Rocket in the comics and the emotional reunion gives everyone a peek at Rocket's past. Lylla has a robot arm and seeing Rocket jump at her with excitement shows they have history.
